The County Governor

Magnus Holgersson

The County Governor is the administrative head of the County Administrative Board, appointed directly by the National Government.

The Acting County Governor of Östergötland is Mr. Magnus Holgersson. Magnus Holgersson was born in Skänninge in 1948. Bachelor of Arts from the University of Linköping in 1973. He has worked at the County Administrative Board for many years, having started his career after his graduation. From 1991-1992 he was employed by the County Administrative Boards Department in the Ministry of Civil Administration. Since 2009, he has been the Acting County Governor.
